The Acqua di Giò bottle has a distinctive ribbed silhouette inspired by the Pantelleria coastline. On authentic bottles, the ribs are precisely molded with consistent depth and width. Fake bottles have shallower, irregular, or smoother-than-expected ribbing.

Eagle logo engraving

Authentic Armani fragrance bottles carry the Giorgio Armani eagle logo engraved or printed with precision. The eagle's feathers should be individually defined. On fakes, the eagle is a simplified blob or the detail is printed rather than engraved.

Juice clarity and color

Acqua di Giò EDT is a very pale, almost water-clear liquid with a faint blue-green tint. Si EDP is a warm golden amber. Any cloudiness, wrong color, or visible particles in the juice indicate a counterfeit or degraded product.

Box construction
